Welcome to my world! I was born in Nova Scotia and raised in Vancouver. I’m a classically trained painter, tattoo artist, and education specialist. My goal is to assist you in sharing your unique story through body art, linking you to the treasured memories, films, shows, and locations that have inspired you throughout your life. Together, let’s begin this creative journey!
My Story
Welcome to my tattoo adventure! Picture this: I got laid off as an Adult Education specialist in 2020, and instead of binge-watching every series on Netflix (just kidding I still did), I decided to dive head first into tattooing and the full time creation of art. With my classical painting skills and training, I got busy creating public artworks for the city of New Westminster and shipping my custom canvas masterpieces worldwide— even as far as China! After 20 years of being a walking canvas myself, I’ve finally decided to trade in my paintbrush for a tattoo machine. Who knew my childhood hobby of drawing colorful “tattoos” with wet pencil crayons on my friends and family would lead me here? As of 2024 I took over ownership of Orchid Oddities Tattoo and used my background as an educator to take on my first ever apprentice. I am truly grateful for the enthusiastic support I've received this early in my career and the opportunities your support and my hard work have afforded me. I look forward to creating many more fun, whimsical, heartfelt, silly masterpieces with you all!
